Aleppo soap is a natural and chemical-free soap to help those with skin problems such as acne, eczema, rosacea or psoriasis.
Born in the fortress of Aleppo in Syria about 2,000 years ago, the Aleppo soap is possibly at the origin of the first hard soaps in the world.
The olive oil used to make this soap gives it a creamy consistency and results in it being white. It contains no palm oil, preservatives, colouring, synthetic fragrances or animal fat derivatives.
It can be effective as a shampoo for oily, itchy scalp or dandruff. As a body soap, it is gentle and moisturising.
As each bar is cured for 9-12 months, they have the light and soft scent of the bay laurel plant.
Care Instructions
For a better lather, soak the Aleppo soap in water for 1 minute and it will start to release sticky strands of soap. Rub directly onto the skin to enjoy the effects of its natural oil composition. Be careful to avoid getting the soap into your eyes as it can sting!
Please ensure you keep the soap dry by using a soap keeper or soap bag!

Currently on my 5th bar and I love it! It’s really gentle on sensitive skin and face. Easy to travel with as well.

The soap is very gentle with a pleasant botanical scent. It doesn’t sting my eczema open wounds and leaves me refreshed after a bath! It’s a little pricey but worth it for sensitive skin 🙂

Love this! Worked really well with a dry spot behind my ear. The smell takes a while to get used to but it’s a nice Castile soap kinda smell. Best – can be used on face, body and hair. Would totally buy this again once I’m done with it. Might even try it again on my dog who has dry skin!

I have been using this soap for nearly a year and I still love it! One bar of soap lasts me for around 2-3 months and it does not dry my skin as much as a conventional body wash. I have eczema so it is gentle enough for me.

Honestly quite impressed with the soap. I’ve tried different bar soaps but this one doesn’t dry you out at all! I have been having dry patches of skin especially at the elbow area and back acne (bacne). The soap really helped to reduce my bacne and also made the dry patches of skin less dry which means I itch less! The smell is a little strong where it doesn’t have your typical floral scent so it will take some getting used to. Would definitely repurchase after I’m done with it 🙂
