Stasher Bags are a patented, award-winning design that is eco-friendly, environmentally safe, and long-lasting. They are safe for use in the microwave, with sous vide machine, a standard oven, or a pot of boiling water — up to 400F (204°C).
Stasher is freezer safe, but use caution carrying and storing liquids. It should be okay to fill the Stasher bag with liquid and place it upright in the freezer.
These bags are equipped with a Pinch-loc™ seal. The innovative air-tight, pinch-loc seal to keep food fresh to store, marinade, and sous vide.
Each bag can last up to 1,000 uses.
Because we don’t use any toxic sealants for Stasher, the silicone can sometimes stain with certain foods. The best way to avoid this is to choose a bag colour that corresponds with your food, e.g. a citrus Stasher for red spaghetti sauce. You can also reduce staining by immediately cleaning after use.
To safely remove stains:
- Make a baking soda paste with vinegar or water
- Apply to discoloured container
- Let sit for at least 20–30 mins
- Rinse and wash the bag like normal
Care Instruction
We suggest filling the bag a 1/4th of the way with warm water and soap and giving it a nice shake. A little brush helps too.
Otherwise, you can place them in the dishwasher. Just don’t flip the bag inside out, it can compromise the bag’s sealed edges.

1 Stasher bag can replace up to 500 single-use plastic baggies in a given year.

I bought the stasher bag in clear (half gallon), and wow it sure is useful! I have issues with ants getting to my food before I do, & I can put my (filled) corgi snack bag in this stasher bag to prevent so. The half gallon is definitely more than enough to keep gardenia sized bread, in fact a little too big. Maybe the sandwich size would be perfect.

These bags have been my substitute for both ziplock bags and curry bags (those transparent ones with the plastic string). Not only is this bag more reliable in terms of not getting punctured and spilling all it contents out but I felt that this bag keeps the food inside fresher for a lot longer than the plastic ones, probably because of the strong seal (I needed some time getting used to opening it XD). Although I have to clean the grooves of the seal and of course accepting the reality of any reusable bags; the stains or a slight tinge that some food leave, like turmeric but I’d say that’s worth the effort for a bag that saved me a lot of plastic waste and likely money in the long run too.

Love how convenient they are! The thickness of the material and sealed zip are pretty useful in keeping oily dishes and gravy locked away. I kinda like the form too- its quite sturdy and doesn’t conform and sink to the bottom of the bag like usual zip log bags. I just wish the open would hold itself open with a locking mechanism or some sort. Pouring hot liquids from a heavy pot while having to hold the bag open can be quite the hassle.
