Wondering how to eliminate the use of conventional floss which is made of plastic? This 30-meter dental corn floss might be your answer!
Conventional plastic floss pollutes the environment easily when it is not disposed of correctly as it is small, making it easier to contaminate our waterways. The corn floss is packed in a zero-waste and plastic-free glass container.
The metal dispensing lid allows you to easily cut the floss. Kindly be careful with the glass container as it will break when dropped.
The floss is more effective for individuals who have wider gaps. For those who have tighter gaps, there is a possibility of the floss breaking due to the tight space.
Material
Made of non-GMO corn fibres, coated with vegan candelilla wax and flavoured with peppermint essential oil.
- PLA Non-GMO corn: A plastic substitute made from fermented plant starch
- Candelilla wax: A vegetable wax extracted by boiling the plant. It is a non-gelling thickener and film former with protecting properties and making it the perfect wax to lubricate the floss and enable it to slide through teeth easily.

If used daily, lasts for 3 – 5 months

The dental floss material feels coarser and rougher compared to the normal dental floss. It does the job of removing food that a toothbrush can’t and has a mild mint scent. Like that it is biodegradable. Also, I like that it comes in a reusable container but having the container be glass worries me.

Works just as well as normal (plastic) floss! It has a peppermint scent which actually leaves a slight minty aftertaste. 30m lasts really long (like a few months if you use it daily) so it’s worth every cent!
