So, here is a step by step method on how to make your own homemade shampoo!

For those who wish to choose the scent of their shampoo, this can be achieved through the use of essential oil. To make things easier, Dr Bronner’s castile soap comes in many different flavours. To save the hassle, you can choose a scented flavour soap from Dr Bronner’s. But do note, if you wish to have a stronger scent in your shampoo, then feel free to add the essential oil!
For those who have dry hair, this optional ingredient will help to combat the issue!
Combine all ingredients in an old shampoo bottle or jar.
- Equal ratio of castile soap and coconut milk
- One table spoon of olive oil
- 15 – 20 Drops of essential oil
Mix them well.
You can keep the shampoo for up to a month. Remember to shake before use and use about a teaspoon each time.
